BAJEEVUZ...Mandy Barry can freaking sing! This 2011 America Can Sing Finalist has
the kind of voice that needs no help from Autotune, and based on the songs submitted
for this review, we can expect Mandy's currently untitled album to be a serious work of
musical art.
Real music is not hard to pick out from the garbage we hear playing on Top 40 radio
these days, and Mandy's on her way to reminding radio programmers and record labels
exactly what a real singer sounds like. Mandy can easily be mentioned alongside such
phenomenal female singers as Adele and the late, Amy Winehouse.
Girl Break Up and Second To Breathe are both beastly productions and the vocals
Mandy displays on each track are utterly ridiculous. Her tone is extremely rich and lacks
absolutely nothing. As a record producer who has worked with some of the most
successful producers and artists in Pop, R&B, and Adult Contemporary music, I was very
impressed with the harmonies and overall vocal production on each song. My only fuss
would be that the vocals are not loud enough in the mixes, so the music is getting in the
way of Mandy's incredible singing talent. So before the project is released, I'd
recommend better vocal and music mixes, because both songs have serious hit potential.
From the production to the songwriting to the vocal delivery, everything is incredible and
I'd love to hear what the album sounds like when it's done.

Mandy Barry is singer/songwriter and Chicago native who displayed big talent right from the start!
A natural, raw talent, Mandy has the very unique ability to sing any and all genres ranging from Opera and Musical Theatre to the open and broken feel of Blues and Soul.
She got her start at 5 years old when she learned the keys and ran around her house singing to “Phantom of the Opera” in perfect pitch.
At age 7 she composed her first instrumental piece on piano and shortly after began recording demos for her father’s songs in his home studio and recording her own pieces.
At 14 she was discovered and taken under the wing of Chicago Record Producer and Composer Aaron “The Titan” Bradley. She has perfected her craft as a recording artist as well as a live performer.
She was a finalist of “America Can Sing” and has gained the support of her city.
