"Mandy Burgan plants her musical seed across Florida"

New acoustic singer-songwriter performs for a large crowd at local Miami venue

Miami, August 15, 2009— Mandy Burgan, a 20-year-old singer-songwriter has marveled audiences in Tampa, Orlando and she continues to attract listeners as she makes her way down the east coast.

Her EP, “Bloom”, is compiled of six originals with all lyrics and musical content credited to Burgan. This well mastered CD, which was produced by friend and current producer, John Cobalt, was sold at The Wallflower Gallery in Miami for only $5 a pop!

“Though recording was tough, it was well worth it,” said Burgan. “The tour has been very successful and I’m ready to establish myself within Florida. And soon after, the rest of the world!”

Once a Berklee College of Music attendee, Burgan left for more of an inspirational route taking along with her the invaluable lessons learned at such a prestigious college. “I am often questioned why I left such a great school, especially when people learn how passionate I am about music. I couldn’t separate a career in music from a musical passion,” said Burgan.

The performance was just one of many as Burgan continues to make her way back home to Orlando to wrap up her mini Florida tour.

“I’m extremely happy with how things are going with my music. I want to play anywhere for anyone who cares to listen because my dream is finally coming true,” said Burgan.

Bio

The anatomy of Mandy Burgan is a list of experience most 20 year olds would fall behind. The lyrics are enlightened and insightful, inspired by the 18 years she spent relocating because of her Army bratness. Her melodies memorable, and the person in front of the guitar is just as confident behind it.

Burgan has toured most of Florida within a months time, getting the word out about the September 2009 release of her first EP. Being a recent Berklee student, Burgan left to pursue a career in performance and songwriting.

Slowly but surely audiences are taken back by the voice that is described as, "Ella Fitzgerald meeting Joss Stone". This is surely something different without straying too far from lovable, relatable, organic music, made completely by her.
