“It’s a little bit of country, a little bit of pop and a whole lot of heart”

“I think Mandy’s music timeless. It’s groovy, emotional, old school country, and new school rock all in one. Her humility and genuineness reflects in her songs and the sound is sweet.”

Biography

Gawley was born in Georgia, but lived in Southern California until 15, when she returned to her home state. She is a mother of two, raising her boys with her husband. Gawley lost her father at fifteen; she knows loss and understands the importance of family.

As she writes her songs now about being a wife and mother, she encourages others to be optimistic and never give up on their dreams. “All I remember ever wanting to be when I grew up was a performer, singing for audiences anytime, anywhere. And now, being all grown up, I find great comfort in being able to do just that—sing my songs for people who really want to listen to what I have to say. And to encourage others who might’ve given up on their dreams.”

Gawley's stage energy is contagious. She pours her heart and soul into every performance. Her songs are about appreciating the little things in life and she leaves you feeling inspired after every show.

After being encouraged by her husband and her family to pursue her music career, Gawley is well on her way on the road to success.

Gawley has recently performed at The Real Squeal: Lyons BBQ and Music Festival in Lyons, GA. She also attended the Bridge Music Foundation Event held at the St Regis in downtown Atlanta.

Her live show is upbeat and energetic, allowing many opportunities for the audience to join in. Gawley is appreciative of her fans and is always wanting to give back to them. She interacts with the crowd throughout her entire set. Her show is a must see for all ages and fans of true, down-home country music.

Change

Written By: Michael Gleason & Mandy Gawley

Always lookin’ over our shoulders
It’s inescapable
Every day that we grow older
It’s undeniable
Sometimes warmer and sometimes colder
Makin’ life like a roller coaster
Right side up then upside down
Turns the tables and turns us around
CHORUS
Change is bound to happen and here to stay
Change is always able and sure to find a way
Just when you think you can’t take it
It brings you relief
Soon as you’re sure that you’ve made it
It tests your belief
May surprise you and keep you guessing
Be the bearer of curse or blessing
There’s no telling how or when, but
It!s one thing on which you can depend
CHORUS
BRIDGE
Might as well face it, the best we can do
Is choose to embrace it and see it thru day to day
CHORUS

Little Things

Written By: Michael Gleason & Mandy Gawley

Some people chase the big house on a hill
Get a big job so they can pay big bills
The big deal is just around the bend
So they’re holdin’ out until their ship comes in
But that’s not me at all
I’d rather have a big heart that keeps thinkin’ small
CHORUS
Oh the little things matter most to me
It’s the little things makin’ life so sweet
When I kiss my kids on the cheek good-night
And you hold me close ‘til the mornin’ light
I thank God for the little things
Some people want the big fortune and fame
With a big stage where they can make a name
The big break is what it!s all about
And they never see how much they’re missin’ out
But that’s not me at all
I’d rather have a big heart that keeps thinkin’ small
CHORUS
Oh the little things matter most to me
It’s the little things makin’ life so sweet
Like a bright sun shinin’ on the first day of spring
Like an evening sittin’ on a front porch swing
I thank God for the little things
BRIDGE
Since less is more then I wanna be blessed
With a simple way of livin’ and some happiness
‘Cause I don’t mind leavin’ the rest of it behind
CHORUS
Oh the little things matter most to me
It’s the little things makin’ life so sweet
Like a Saturday morning for sleepin’ in
Like the helping hand of a true blue friend
Like a warm fire waitin’ at a long day’s end
I thank God for the little things
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Sweet, sweet little things
