Manic 27 is an alternative rock/grunge band from Toronto, Ontario Canada. They have a sound that reminds some of the Ramones, The Clash or other punk bands from the 80's...
These guys bring high energy, and heavy music to their fans! Made up of three guys; Guitarist/vocalist Matt Runge, and cousins Cody Lavalley on bass, Kevin Lavalley on drums, these guys are setting out to rock the Grunge scene! Check out their three hot tracks, & watch out for them in 2010!!

Bio
The birth of Manic 27 came about in Oct of 2008. In 2007 Matt & Kevin, living in the same neighborhood, crossed pathz & realized they had alot in common musically.
Matt decided he wanted to form a more aggressive, grunge oriented project to express his mutual disdain for the conformity & complacency of their generation.
With the opportunity to branch out & express himself as the projectz drummer, Kevin didn't need much convincing... "It sometimez feelz like the true voice of our generation is either silenced or suppressed!" Says Kevin, "Our goal is to reclaim that voice!"
Although Kevin frontz his own up & coming rock band, "THA HOOCH" among other projectz, Manic 27 is the place where 3 kindred spiritz converge, shred, crank & explode pure rock revolution!
With that in mind, we decided to strip everything down and keep only the bare essentials, guitar, drumz & bass...
To round out the band, Kevin suggested his cousin Cody to play bass... Cody also playz bass in "THA HOOCH"... After one jam session they knew he was the missing link to their evolution as an emerging rock powerhouse!
"We plan to tear open rock, pull out the truth, and
have people stage dive to it!" Sayz Matt. "If you are sick and tired of being a part of the flock, we urge you to break away with us!"
