Lavard Parks - (A.K.A Manifest) Sr Vice President
Lavard Parks, otherwise known as Manifest, was born in Freeport, Bahamas. Upon the death of his mother in 1990, he moved to Nassau, where he would finish his schooling. Shortly after graduating high school, Lavard attended the College Of The Bahamas where he was exposed to hip hop music. It wasn't long thereafter that he himself became involved in rap music (a long awaited goal) with the group "Supernatural" in 1997.
Manifest has since grown lyrically and has released his solo joint called, "The Manifestival - Music from My Heart," which includes three videos. He has completed several compilation projects and videos: "The Underground Session," featuring the top artists in Nassau and Freeport; "The New Breed," featuring new talent from around the country and around the world; and the hit single "Head Bangers," a fan favorite, enhanced with "The University of Hardknocks video." These products have been released under Dunamus Soundz Records (www.dunamussoundz.com) and can be found at (www.unlimitedtracks.com).
Dunamus Soundz has also released "Way of Life" by one of the artists on the label, Mif'f. They are on the verge of releasing the Dunamus Soundz Ball in January of 2005, which will include two videos. Manifest has celebrated the release of a group album (Supernatural) - Heavy rotation, a former group in which Manifest was a part earlier in 2001.
Manifest has been doing hip-hop ministry since 1997 with Supernatural and then solo in 2000, under his label and studio Dunamus Soundz Records. Manifest has travelled extensively throughout the Caribbean, and throughout the U.S., meeting with top industry people and artist. Manifest has and built firm foundations in several areas in the US including Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Los Angeles, New York, and New Jersey to name a few.
Manifest is also a graduate of the College of The Bahamas and holds an AA in Architecture. He also previously host his own radio show on More 94.9 fm here in the Bahamas and runs a recording studio and production company (Dunamus Soundz). He is also in the process of publishing his first book, titled Surviving against All Odds, to be released this year. His immediate plans are to release The Underground Session Pt. 2, a compilation of music videos on DVD, and his newest solo project, Parables. Manifest's continued vision is to help other aspiring artists where he can, study and learn more about the field of audio and tour with the label as he develops the company and world-class studio of Dunamus Soundz.

Dunamus Soundz is the most dynamic hip hop company growing in the Bahamas today.
