„Was raus muss, muss raus“, so sprach die begnadete Sängerin aus Österreich Manuela Gebetsroither vergangenen Mittwochabend im Hirschn in Moosburg. Was da raus musste, beziehungsweise wohlklingend herauskam, war eine geniale Jazzstimme, die man zudem in keine Schublade stecken konnte. Der entsprechende akustische Rahmen kam von Josef Hinterhölzl, Manuela Brandner, Florian Wöss und Andreas Reisinger. Die in Linz geborene Sängerin Manuela Gebetsroither kam nach zwei Semestern Gesangsstudium an der Musikhochschule Osnabrück erstmalig als Solokünstlerin in ihre alte Heimat zurück. Manuela Gebetsroither aka Manüla was attracted to music pretty early on, but it has been a difficult journey to find the way to her voice. Not one who was ‚always singing‘, it was only a fortunate coincidence which brought her, at the age of fifteen, to front of a Big Band. But at that moment it became clear - this is it!
She started the Soul R´n´B Pop project MANÜLA in Austria 2010 as the centerpiece of her musical work. All of the creative input from her studies at University for Pop-Music in Osnabrück/Germany enters immediately into writing and composing for it.
