Mann J was born as Jason Walker on September 15, 1998 in Houston, Texas. After gaining an interest in music from an early age he was pinning songs on his own by the age of 11. As time went on he continued to hone his skills in local cyphers and continuing to write, mostly to pre-used instrumentals. Soon he got in the booth and started recording remixes to popular songs which he called J-Mixes. After gaining some popularity through these, he began work on his debut project. The 'Launch Sequence EP' an 8 track EP released on April 3, 2015. After its release and reception by his growing fanbase and some reviews he soon began work on his debut mixtape 'Start Line' which was released on July 31, 2015. And on January 2, 2016 Mann J released a 4 track EP titled 'The Flows and Motions Mix' to start the year. Sense then he has also released two singles including his fisrt commercially distributed single "It's All a Go", has been featured on songs with multiple artists, and from the start to end of Summer 2016 incepted a new series that he called #MANNMONDAYS where he released a new Remix (J-Mix) or freestyle to a song typically on a Monday. At the same time he Announced he was ending #MANNMONDAYS in early August for 2016 he announced he had begun work on a new project (To Be Titled). And has since released the lead single for this project titled "Running Everything Up".
