Discography

MannaFest started with a demo CD created during their first year together in 2001. Their first full-length CD of original songs was introduced in January, and one of the tracks from the CD, "All Things Beautiful," received airplay the very next day on Ann Arbor's 107.1 Homegrown show.

Bio

MannaFest performs an eclectic mix of music that consistently pleases any kind of audience. Material ranges from original songs to familiar favorites by artists such as The Beatles, Sheryl Crow, Fleetwood Mac and The Jayhawks. Factors that set MannaFest apart from other bands include diverse lead vocals with an emphasis on tight, rich harmonies; skillful, solid musicianship; and a repertoire of songs that represents a wide range of musical genres.

MannaFest has been playing together for more than 6 years, and started with a desire to make music together and to contribute to the community. Since 2001, MannaFest has helped raise well over $500,000 for nonprofit organizations in Ann Arbor, Detroit, Toledo and beyond - including Karmanos Cancer Center, Alzheimer’s Association, Women’s Center of America and the Interfaith Hospitality Network. With a repertoire of music combining original songs and unique takes on cover tunes, MannaFest has earned the reputation of being not only high quality and entertaining, but family friendly and fun. They are able to adapt their show to small and large events, intimate dinners of 50 to summer festivals drawing 2000 or more.

Local venues where MannaFest has performed include the Ark, the Michigan Theater, Rick’s Cafe, Goodnite Gracie, the Detroit Zoo, the Common Grill, and multiple events at Washtenaw Community College’s Morris Lawrence Building. They’ve also traveled to many cities in Michigan and Ohio to play festivals such as the Northwest Ohio Rib-off and Northern Michigan’s Lake City 4th of July festival.

MannaFest recently completed their first CD of original songs, which is available at gigs and through the band's website. For more information on booking, e-mail mannafestband@aol.com, or go to www.mannafestband.com.
