Manno gives Air Max Music yet another sick track in “My Name Is”, where he goes in on Eminem’s classic beat. Manno also wanted to clarify that he does not have beef with Boston rapper Moufy, after calling him out on “The Dawn” which was featured on the site earlier this week - Air Max Music
It’s been awhile since we have posted any Manno on the site and honestly that is a mistake on our part. This man has some serious talent as he spits over a really chill laid back instrumental and absolutely kills it. This song is off the album The Everyday Objective. - Air Max Music
We were lucky to come across a talented emcee from Concord, NH named Manno Jagroop. Manno spits over The XX’s song, The Intro (as did YONAS in our first ever Song of the Day), and gives us some clever lines in this short song. Something that stuck out to us was Manno saying in the introduction of the song: “F**k Moufy“. However, we were reassured that “there is no beef. Manno doesn’t like Moufy and/or respect his movement of music. He wants to bring back some real rap, real underground grimey shit that people can feel.” Tell us what you think. Manno Jagroop is a hip-hop artist from the Concord, NH area. I find it inspiring to see a member of the younger generation putting in as much effort as he is. This is his second music video in as many weeks. It’s also nice to see a musician representing the influences in his life and not resorting to flashy images and raps about gold chains and bitches. When I think of my experiences in rural ME and NH broken trailers, junk yards, unpaved dirt roads, with friends comes to mind. Manno Jagroop is down to earth in his presentation, his lyrical style is comforting, and I highly recommend following this musician in the coming months. - Dispatch Mag
