Manu Vera Tudela y su banda

Manuel Vera Tudela is a composer from Lima, Perú, born in 1984. His music mixes differents genders like traditional peruvian music, rock n roll, but in the end you can tag his music as a cool folk pop. He lives in Cusco since 2011, place where he has developed his musical career. His discography includes three records: “Evacuación”, “Cusco”, and “Energía Libre”. Manuel is currently recording his fourth record, switching the acoustic sound for an electric and powerful band. In 2015, the composer was nominee as one of the most interesting musical project for an art magazine in Perú.

Manuel has traveled to Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador and Perú as former of KUSKA, a nice duet of guitar, percussion and songs about nature, freedom, Cusco, life, fear, travel, etc. Now he plays guitar and sings for his own project and also for the cusquenian band Chintatá. They played in “Selvámonos 2016” Festival, the most important music festival in Perú. Manu played as solo artist in Paris and Madrid on June of 2016.

 As a band, they have performed in Brasil at “Grito Rock Fest” on march 2016, at the Cusco´s Municipal Theatre, auditoriums, cultural places, public spaces, schools, reformatories, etc. Manu´s new record will be released next february. The musical producer is the Peruvian musician Alejandro Rivas (Alejandro y María Laura, duet).
