Manufactured Youth

BandAlternativePunk

Manufactured Youth is a New York based, hard-edged, raw and explosively powerful Pop/Punk band. They combine the best elements of new wave, post-modern pop and punk into an intense, original, melodic and entertaining mix.

Biography

Exploding out of New York City, New Jersey and the forgotten Staten Island, Marcus Bennett along with his bands, Manufactured Youth and The Rumrats are giving audiences all they have with extremely melodic and catchy hooks from songwriter Marcus Bennett with a alternative rock-punk sound driven by the band. Their "stick in your head" melodic vocal hooks and lyrics are genuine and always leave you thinking wanting to hear Manufactured Youth's music again and again. This line-up is destined to take the genre of rock to new heights with their own brand of precision and power.
Both Manufactured Youth and the Rumrats have been proving time and time again that there is no stage or crowd big enough.

Manufactured Youth's new Debut album "Identity Crisis" is receiving industry attention with 10 new driving tracks featuring songs Dear You, Spinning, Again and Gimmie Some.

Lyrics

Dear You

Written By: Marcus Bennett

Dear you- music, lyrics, performance and arrangement by Marcus Bennett Gershman

I still think about you dear
I still wonder if everythings ok
I still think about you dear
I still wonder if its me who you taste

I still think about the times they’ve changed
I still wonder if your feeling all the same
Let me know in the letter you want to talk

I sit and write dear you
But I don’t know what else to say
Im still thinking of you
Tell me are you feeling the same way
In another place she writes to say

I still think about you dear
I still wonder if everything’s ok
I still think about you so clear
I still wonder if your going the wrong way
I still wonder if the times they’ve changed I still wonder if your felling all this strange
Let me know in the letter that you wrote

I sit and write dear you
But I don’t know what else to say
Im still thinking of you
Tell me are you feeling the same way
In another place she writes to say

And you want it all
when you had it all
Then you let it go
Cause you wanted more
And here we are so far away cause we both gave up with so much to say
If I could take back all the things we didn’t say

First tiem I saw her it was right where I stand and
She ahd the weyes that made me have to stop the band so I could put her up on stage where everyone can see
I touched her face and said I ache for you to be with me
So will ya will ya do ya wanna wanna
Show all the ladies
How ya how ya gonna gonna get up and shake it for the
Rest of this song
A show where you belong right up here with me tonight today we’ll both sit down and write

dear you
But I don’t know what else to say
Im still thinking of you
Tell me are you feeling the same way

And you want it all
when you had it all
Then you let it go
Cause you wanted more
And here we are so far away cause we both gave up with so much to say
Or do we let it end this way, let it end this way

You trip on the little things yes you do
How did I go wrong
How did I stay strong
