Written By: Darcy McMann, Fred Yurichuk

When I was a sun,
Wait for you in an amber suite.
When I was a moon,
Strive to find a meaning.
Taking the time to be something fresh and new.

And she said:
'I'm only seventeen.'
And she said:
'You're too old for me.'
I am the forgotten star,
Sickly and out of shape.

When I was a star,
Kissed your feet and your mother's too.
You thought i was a bore,
Made me sleep on your bedroom floor.
Building the ruble around your bubble ten feet high.

And she said:
'I'm only seventeen.'
And she said:
'You're too old for me.'
I am the forgotten star,
Sickly and out of shape.

Just seventeen, Just seventeen.
Its a downright shame.

Round and round and up and down please call me when your mother is not around.
Round and round and up and down please call me when your mother is not around.
