Some say that certain things in this world were not born into existence as most things are. They have just always been so. Forces that move us, drive us, and leave us yearning for more. Yet there is one force that demands to be reckoned with, to stand out from the rest. That force is Marca Luna.

Biography

Marca Luna is back in action and solidifying their new sound with a new line up and new E.P.

Singers Devan Waterhouse and Marcus Glaze soulfully tell their stories with captivating vocal harmonies and catchy hooks, while the melodic undertow that is Kyle Woody's guitar playing glues the band together with his weightless technicality. Drummer Aaron DeRosso and bassist Chris Ficht drive the sound with perfect synchronicity and style with heavy grooves, swagger and snappy beats. Marca Luna doesn't just believe in performing but entertaining! With energy, antics, and a psychedelic, and a blinding light show production. It's not just a show, but an experience you can't miss!

"This combination of young talented artists are destined to succeed at fulfilling music enthusiasts appetite for great 'indie' rock." -Richie Bristol 2007 CBS Radio/Producer

"Their Movement-inducing brand of alternative rock will embrace you in a cocoon of enchanting sound." -Nemesis Entertainment

Lyrics

Farewell

Written By: Marcus Glaze

You see her walking that line, its getting thinner everyday.
She will tell you that she’s fine when you know she’s not okay.
You see her walking up town, with that look on her face,
She’s enjoying the ride down in her fall from grace.

So we say goodbye, don’t shed a tear, no please don’t cry,
Have no fear………
Farewell, Emily!!
Farewell!!

You see the look in her eyes, and you feel the fear,
It comes as no surprise when you find out she’s not really here.
You feel the touch of her kiss, still upon your skin,
This is what you get when you try and let her in……

Let's Pretend

Written By: Marcus Glaze

Here we are, we could do it again,
give us hope, stop, start and try from within.
Tears of joy, fall as we walk this line.
All through the night, we begin our ascent from decline
Hate fills our lungs, between gasping breaths,
We pretend everything is normal again
Even though there is nothing left!

And I see you, staring back at me,
And I see you… (Repeat)

Well I don’t know why you think, all of the things you do bother me,
And I don’t know why you think, everything in life should come for free!!!

Look at me, when I’m talking to you,
Tell me can you see, does anything that I’m saying get through?
Can you hear me as I scream right back into your face?
As we kiss for the last time, everything seems to fall into place.

Hide

Written By: Devan Waterhouse Olmstead

You know when I see you out on the town
I call your name, you just look down
Has there been something that I have done
Did I up and have too much fun

Or is there something, you’re good cheer demise
You’re afraid that I’ll see it in your eyes
Take one good look at my face
You’ll see that my friend you’re in the right place, ‘Cuz

(Chorus)
You don’t have to hide
Please take off your disguise
Step out beneath the blue skies
‘Cause you don’t have to hide

I hear all ‘bout the things that you do
I understand, you think you’re cool
Leave you a message, get no reply
Careful my friend, you’ll get cut down to size

‘Cause when you get so far ahead of yourself
You lose sight of what is true wealth
You’re so prone to buying all that they sell
You’ve look yourself in, but I’m here to tell you that

(Chorus)
You don’t have to hide
Please take off your disguise
Step out beneath the blue skies
‘Cause you don’t have to hide

Siren Song

Written By: Devan Waterhouse Olmstead

Boy you better stop, and look around
Boy you better drop, at the speed of sound
‘Cause you know I’ve got the Gun, and you’re afraid
So go ahead and run, to your shallow grave… Ya

(Chorus)
Boy, you better leave this town
With your head hung down
Ready for my Cane
Justice
Served in many different ways
And you’ll get yours
You’re gonna get yours today
Dream Taker

Now the time has come, for a showdown
You think you’re a God, We think you’re a Clown
Tonight we’re gonna dance, the whole night through
We’ll make some romance, then We’re gonna kill you… Ya

(Chorus)
Boy, you better leave this town
With your head hung down
Ready for my Cane
Justice
Served in many different ways
And you’ll get yours
You’re gonna get yours today
Dream Taker

Boy you better stop, and look around
Boy you better drop, at the speed of sound
‘Cause you know I’ve got the gun, and you’re afraid
They’re evil things you’ve done, now it’s time you paid… YA
