Marcell Marias is a Seattle-based producer and performer with several CD releases and film/video soundtrack credits. His co-mingles various styles of electronic music including ambient, downtempo, house, breaks and drum & bass. Marcell performs shows some of his shows in surround sound with synchronized visuals. This desire to envelop the audience in sound and light comes from Marcell's interest in playing multimedia gigs since high school.

Throughout many years of performing both solo and in bands, he has realized the importance and potential of visual imagery during a live show. Having gained experience from being a part of the visuals support for Meat Beat Manifesto's 1996 east coast tour, the power of visuals was evident. Coldcut are another example and great influence, both for their socio-political views and their great visual shows.

In addition to his solo gigs, he also performs live with Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Henta, playing dubby downtempo, house, and breaks with a laptop, various controllers and ethereal vocals.

He has collaborated on two Grammy-Nominated Albums in 2009, with co-writing credits on David Miles Huber's "Colabs" album and mixing credits on Henta's "Laserium for the Soul" album.

Marcell Marias recently released his latest album, Positive Energy Revolution, and is working on brand new audiovisual material. He is also an avid remixer, with the latest remix being Medication Club's "Freak Science" track. Other remixed artists include Perter Gabriel, Sevara, Tiesto, Robert Miles, Weightless, and David Miles Huber and Henta.
