Marcelo Maccagnan Samba Jazz Quartet

Marcelo Maccagnan Samba Jazz Quartet performs a wide variety of music, ranging from traditional to contemporary jazz, fusion, latin and brazilian. We are a flexible and versatile group based on the New York area. In addition to standard repertoire like Jobim, Joao Gilberto and Elis Regina, we also include various american jazz standards from artists such as Cole Porter, John Coltrane, Duke Ellington etc. We usually work as an instrumental trio or quartet, but we do have a vocalist (that sings in portuguese and english) that join us from time to time.
