Bio

Melding and molding American styles of music into bright new dimensions, she calls her genre(s) "Sci-Fi Swing", "Acoustic Styled Blues" and "Melodic Quasi-Jazz".
Marcia is an engaging stage personality who has entertained audiences of all sorts and sizes, performing up and down the West Coast and all over the Puget Sound and British Columbia regions.
Marcia lives in Bellingham, WA, where she received recognition for her musical accomplishments in 1991 when she was the first singer/songwriter to receive the Bellingham Mayor's Arts Award. Her vast repertoire also includes standards and covers.
In additon to performing herself, Marcia is experienced at organizing and presenting special events, bringing the best local performers to the public in a variety of open mic, concert and showcase venues.
In 2005, she became the on-air host of "Northwest Soundscapes", a local radio interview show and concert series, the recordings of which are still being aired on two local stations
