Bio
Marcia Guderian is a charming songstress whose voice and smile are both unique and compelling. With her expressive vibrato, melodic fingerpicked acoustic guitar style and warm stage presence, Marcia is an engaging performer whose joy in music communicates well to her audiences. She's got a huge song list which includes both well-crafted originals and a wide variety of covers, standards, acoustic blues, swing, folk, pop, and light jazz.
With a wealth of background and experience to draw upon, she's a popular performer at concerts, festivals, parties, weddings, clubs and coffee houses. She has performed up and down the West Coast and all over the Puget Sound region and into British Columbia, both solo and with a variety of different bands from vocal groups and acoustic duos to 8 or 10 piece dance and stage bands.
She is also a skilled emcee and has hosted Open Mics, Songwriters' Showcases, variety shows, group concerts and radio programs, bringing some of the best local and regional performing artists and singer/songwriters to the public in her presentations.
In addition, she's an adept song leader. A Sing-a-Long led by Marcia is wonderful party entertainment.

Marcia is available to perform, (with or without amplification) either as a solo act or backed up with bass and drums in MG3 - the Marcia Guderian trio. She also sings great harmony and is available for band and/or studio work.
