"Unsigned Music Magazine"

"Marco Haber is beyond a doubt one of the most skilled percussionists in the world today." - Ken Hamlett

"Metroland Magazine"

"Haber has a uniquely AfroLatin and Middle Eastern-influenced style of drumming that makes one drum sound like, well, a bunch of drums." - Erik Hague

"104.9 - Love FM"

"Percussionist Marco Haber is as magnetic to hear as he is to watch. His seductive rhythms and unconventional technique make him one of the most gifted and refreshing musicians around. He truly must be seen to be appreciated." - Julie Finer

"WSPN 91.1 FM"

"To the casual eye, Marco Haber's hands barely move. Certainly, they don't move enough to produce THIS, and from one djembe no less. Marco inspires the double-take: indeed, he almost makes it mandatory. It seems so easy to walk by him, sitting quietly with his craft. It's the second look that gets 'em everytime, though -- and then it's over." - Arthur Gonick

Marco is the sole percussionist on the Mudfunk album - 'Live at the Grind' (released in 2006). He has also played as a guest performer on a number of other albums put out by various artists.

A native of NYC, Marco Haber was introduced to percussion at the age of 3 when he was enrolled in a rhythm class for young children. As a teenager, he traveled to the Middle East on a trip that would set in motion what has become a life-long passion for the expression of rhythm through drumming. Today, after decades of musical exploration, practice and performing, Marco captivates his audience with an unusual style that regularly prompts the question - "How the %+@# does he do that?"

Marco's career as a professional percussionist began in college where he landed a gig playing for a modern dance troupe. Since that time he has been on the bill with national acts such as Eric Anderson, Michael Glabicki (lead singer from Rusted Root), and Foghat, and has played extensively in the United States as well as England. For several years he has performed as the percussionist for the successful regional act - 'Mudfunk'.

These days, Marco is devoting much of his time to performances and educational programs with Felle Vega - renowned percussionist and instrument designer from the Dominican Republic. Marco also routinely works with a number of other acoustic and world musicians.

Unless specified otherwise, all EPK submissions are for opportunities in which Marco plans to work with Felle Vega.
