Marco Notari is one of the most interesting and unconventional songwriters in Italy. His sound merges the tradition of the great italian songwriters with modern british and scandinavian music. Winner of the 2007 Indie Music Like Award as Best Independent Italian Artist, he released two EPs and two LPs within four years as well as a short novel contained in the vinyl version of the album "Babele". His new album "Io?" has been released on 16/09/2011, reaching the 51th position in the F.I.M.I./Nielsen Italian Official Selling Chart and moving the critics to enthusiasm, with a long tour of 50 shows in all the most important Italian towns and at the PopKomm in Berlin. “Io?” it’s also a eco-friendly album: the copies were realized with FSC paper, the tour is “zero impact” (in association with Lifegate) and the merchandising is fair-trade. The english version of “Io?” will come out in the next months.
