Marc Persing

Hi, wuts up.. My names Marc Persing and I've been writing song since I was about nine years old. At first I started in a band called Galilee Forgotten then I was in another long time band called T7E. I found that writing music for the bands I was in was frustrating because I could never hear what was in my own head. So recently I've decided to pursue my solo career more, but not just for the money and the fame but impact others through music and do it for God. I'm a strong believer in Christ and I think that music is a waist of time for someone who lets people tell them what they should sing or what they should wear while they sing. Most artists get very caught up with image and the green slips of paper when there is really something more with music. I didn't always have this conviction about writing songs, but over the past year I've realized the more real you are with your lyrics, the more people get it and can truly appreciate what your listening to. Songwriting for me is about telling my story and things that happen to me through song and while at it hopefully bringing people along with me that relate to my music.
