Bio
Marc Silverberg is currently a part time college professor, and full time doctoral student studying the genre of contemporary a cappella. In addition to his scholarly activities, he is the writer of an off-broadway musical, director of a semi-pro a cappella group, and solo comedian/live looper. In his live looping showcase, Marc builds songs from 1 to 12 parts by himself, using a loop pedal and a microphone, performing everything from current radio hits to original comedy songs and also improvising new songs live and on the spot. His musical influences include Bobby McFerrin, Weird Al Yankovic, Jonathan Coulton, Ben Folds, and Mister Tim.
