Bio
The Marcus Elliot Quartet, which consists of Marcus Elliot (Tenor Saxophone), Glenn Tucker (piano), Ben Rolston (Bass), and Julian Allen (Drums), has played in numerous venues in southeast Michigan since forming in early 2010. The group combines their love of Jazz music with popular styles of today such as Hip Hop, R&B and electronic music. Marcus’s forthcoming debut album, “Looking Forward,” is comprised of all original compositions and will be released in March. Marcus’s compositional voice has been described as “aged but still pushing forward.” The Marcus Elliot Quartet provides more confirmation to the public that this music is alive, well, and in good hands.
