Marcus Manchild

Born in Austin Texas in 1989, Marcus Manchild (Marcus armstead ) is an American rap artist. Manchild discovered his artistic talent early in life and by the age of 16, was focused on pursuing his musical interests. Inspiration for his music is evident through his lyrics, which is reflective of his environment and lifestyle while growing up on the south west side of Houston, Texas. Marcus' popularity rose in Houston and much of the South as his career gained momentum thus creating a local celebrity amongst his fans and followers. His musical career ascended to a national level in 2010 when he connected with a Houston Independent label called AMG Records. Since then, Manchild's work has been recognized internationally with over 6,000,000 views on various social media sites. As his career began to flourish, Marcus was invited to make appearances on networks and radio stations such as BET, MTV, and Power 105.1, The Breakfast Club.  Through these endeavors, he was privileged to make the acquaintances of some of the leaders in the current rap game, such as Yo Gotti, twista,Future, Bun B, Scarface, and more. Manchild toured the country in 2012.  for the Smokers Club National Tour. After which, he was featured in magazines such as Vibe, XXL, and Hip Hop Weekly, etc. In 2011 Marcus, became founder and CEO of Turbolife, a brand he created that is representative of his  lifestyle and independent musical career.
