Bio

I started singing and dancing at an early age. My first stage appearance was in a play called "The Sun" I always knew I wanted to perform. Growing up, I was pretty much sheltered from everything, my mother is a dedicated Jehovah's Witness and her beliefs trickled down on us hard. I've never been to a school dance, school prom, was never allowed to hang out with friends. All in a nut shell my only escape was music. I would listen to artist like, of course, Michael Jackson, he showed the up side of the art and yet the downside of the business and I was always drawn to that. Moreover, Whitney Houston, Prince, to name a few artist that had influence in my life. My brother was my very first engineer. We had this tape recorder he would record me on, you know the one where you had to press play and record at the same time. (Lol). I love to record, its my passion along with songwriting. I've always been a writer. English/Literature was always my best subject in school. I believe that a true writer has had some sort of tragedy in their life at one time or another, and I guess me being sheltered from life itself was tragic enough to write about. So I write!
My story began at a young age, my pre-teen years I did alot of sneaking around to do talent shows, sing in chorus, show choir. I got caught when one of the talent shows I did in put us on the front cover of the local news paper. I'll never forget, I was a freshman in high school, we threw down in that show, I got into trouble, but hey, it was well worth it. I was born in New London, Connecticut but find myself a native of Syracuse, New York for the time being. I've been here since 1994. This is where I met producer Zulu Bey, CEO of Rawelements Entertainment. We linked and its been fire ever since. Most of my production on my CD which is to drop in 2009 is by Zulu.
