"Maren Rocks at the Hollywood Key Club"

"Maren simply works hard because she loves what she does, and she keeps coming up with new ideas such as a short video clip showcasing her style before performing a peek a boo introduction behind a sheer sheet. Maren comes out from behind the sheet in full force ready to rock and dance with a strong band with advanced dancers, sometimes in cages, backing her up. During Maren's performance, strong vocal talent enhanced her fun filled show, and there were smiles and sex appeal to back her up that gave her an extra edge with a similar style to two of her stated influences, those being Madonna and Evanescence." - All Access Magazine

"Maren at The Roxy"

"Maren's dance moves enhance her already strong musical act. A powerful stage presence accompanied by strong music skills could make Maren attractive to industry willing to develop her. She comes off as friendly, which should be a big plus for her commercially, as she's already bringing in a good draw." - Music Connection

"Artists to Watch - Maren"

"Born and raised in Los Angeles, Maren has proved herself as much more than the typical Hollywood singer. Although her band brings her pop/rock style to the forefront, her vocals alone are powerful enough to keep her audience listening. Maren has already shown off her skills at L.A. venues like The Roxy, and recently wowed NYC with a performance at the renowned CBGB." - Planet Verge

"Quotes"

“She sings great…She’s fun to watch. She’s sexy and she sings great!” - David Foster (14-time Grammy Award winning producer/songwriter)

"Quotes"

“She’s a big star in the making. Definitely someone to watch for and I’m glad I had the opportunity to work with her in the early stages of her career. She’s also one of the nicest and most professional people to work with.” - Jef Hickey (Stage Manager of The Keyclub LA)

"Quotes"

"She's Awesome!!" - Louise Post (Lead Singer of Veruca Salt)

Bio

Maren-Performance Rock
A New Breed of Rock and Roll

If you could picture the Pussycat Dolls doing rock music and there was only one of them, then you’d start to have an idea of how the Rock world is about to change. Maren’s unique sound is a result of the mix between dramatic rock music and Maren’s wide ranged pop vocals. The interesting part about Maren’s voice is that you could lay down the heaviest rock track you can find and Maren will make it sound pop when she sings on it, while still retaining the rock “edge”. She is bringing the entertainment factor to the rock world and is redefining what it means to be a “rock star”. Her intricate and performance oriented stage show, incorporating dance and props into her set, make her thrilling and captivating to watch on stage.

Maren’s love for music was kindled at an early age. At the age of two, unbeknownst to her, Maren was part of the entourage of Elton John’s 1985 European tour and the presence in her household, from her earliest days, of world famous musicians no doubt accounts for Maren’s ease and joy in the recording studio, where she delights in recording, as a singer and songwriter.

Maren has performed on the KTLA Morning Show, Fox Sports Network, and The Tony Bruno Show on Fox Radio with her girl group, The Slam Girls. The single “Go Lakers Go” debuted on KIIS FM. She was also seen on the Fox television show, Thirty Seconds to Fame, performing an original song which she wrote “Upside Down”. Additionally, Maren appeared on NBC’s Star Tomorrow in which world-renown record producer David Foster gave her rave reviews. Her music has been featured on XM Radio as well as various television shows including MTV’s Laguna Beach and The Hills. Maren has performed in a wide array of venues ranging from The Staples Center (where she sang the National Anthem solo in front of over 10,000 people), The Hula Bowl in Hawaii and the Disney Concert Hall, all the way to the world famous CBGB’s in New York and has opened for such well-known bands as Veruca Salt, Powder and Metal Skool.

Maren now performs regularly, with her band, in Hollywood at such historic places as BB King’s, The Cat Club, The El Rey, The Keyclub, The Knitting Factory, The Roxy, The Viper Room and The Whisky A Go Go, to name a few. Her band includes Orlando Mestre (Guitar and Keyboards), Carl Buena (Bass), and Tyler Zarzeka (Drums).

Determined to be a complete package as an entertainer, Maren is also fluent in Spanish, and, because of her dual U.S.-Canadian citizenship both can work and qualify in Canadian music, T.V. and film productions as a Canadian under Canadian content and immigration rules.
