Marful

Marful was born in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, inspired by the music sung and danced on the Galician's boats. Traditional Music spread out around the sea ports all over the world. Ironic lyrics were composed by Ugia Pedreira, front singer. Music that reminds us of jazz, European cabaret, club music, vintage... Accordions, clarinets, guitars, poetry and roots.

With their first album, Marful, they rescued music from the 30's and 40's both from Europe and America. For the second one, Manual of Seduction, love is on the agenda with twist, jotas, mambos, tangos and pasodobles.They are now preparing their third album.

Ugia Pedreira, Marcos Teira, Pedro Pascual and Pablo Pascual are the best thing that has happened to Galician music within the last decade. They have led a musical revolution in their country with their of harmonies, aesthetic and lyrics. They have represented Galicia at festivals and musical events of all kinds (Womex 2007, Celtic Connections, Book International Fair of La Havana, Casa da Musica in Porto). They gained Audience Award for his first album, now they presented the second, recorded in 2010 and working on new material for their third one.
