Margeaux

Margeaux are a 4 piece band originally from Elgin, Moray, formed early last summer. We have all played extensively together in various other bands but this group of guys has been rehearsing and writing together as Margeaux for about a year now. We are beginning to get regular gigs in Edinburgh, as that is where we are now based and are building a following here. Whilst we are relatively new to the scene, we have had a great response to our live show and our original material. Our sound stems from a love of guitar music, and is hugely influenced by bands such as the strokes, but also newer influences from Warpaint to Beirut. We are in the process of making an E.P. but until then we have a few garagey demos available on our facebook page and youtube channel to get a feel for our sound. We really hope you are as excited by our music as we are.
