The best kept secret in music

"About "Tango in Red & Black,"

"Tango de Negro y Carmin" (Tango in Red and Black) was an outstanding, dramatic tango performance (...) The depth and power of Maria Cangiano's woeful, soulful voice brings the nostalgic nature of Tango music to life."

- Brooklyn Heights Press

"About Victor Prieto at the Williamsburg Jazz Festival"

"Victor Prieto is an accordion genious" - New York Post

"About Pedro Giraudo's Jazz Band: Mr Vivo"

'Mr. Vivo presents a refreshingly original slant on improvised music, adeptly combining elements of modern jazz with Argentine rhythms.'
- Scott Reeves, Professor of Jazz Studies, Julliard School of Music

"About Maria Cangiano's Performance in Il Trovatore"

"Maria Cangiano is a major mezzo-contralto voice with bright and clear tones throughout the middle and upper register, and a low register that reminds me of either Jerome Hines or Gottlob Frick (well, actually more like Conchita Supervia combined with Elena Obratsova). She has a wonderfully fearless way of attacking the music,in the "good-old" Italianate opera tradition, and I hope she goes far." - Charles Handelman
