As discussions of their image became more controversial, the demand for this one-of-a-kind mariachi group increased. However, one of the greatest achievements of Rosas Divinas is not just pioneering a new respect for mariachi women, but rather using their musical precision to preserve the mariachi heritage for the next generation. Without a doubt, Mariachi Rosas Divinas is the first all female mariachi group to take Mexican pop culture back to its roots.
Rosas Divinas began collaborating with Pete Orta, founder of Planet Mariachi, at the beginning of 2006. Orta, Grammy Award winning artist, would start to direct the girls’ course in an extensive management roll. While the musical career of Rosas Divinas was thriving, Orta’s experience in the music industry calibrated the girls’ momentum to a stable force in the world of mariachi.

Aside from sharing stage time with Mexican legends such as Fito Olivares and Graciela Beltran, Mariachi Rosas Divinas live with a deep conviction that contributes to their efforts to one day overcome child poverty. Rosas Divinas is the first and only mariachi to ever engage with the force of World Vision International. So when the lights have gone out and the girls have turned in, Rosas Divinas not only wants to leave the world with a song, each of these “divine roses” wants to leave it with a legacy.
