Bio
Mariana is a newly founded band from the Lewiston area. It started out as four kids with a passion for music and an even greater passion for Christ. Sharing the stage with bands like the Listener, A Rose By Another Name from the Chariot, the Homeless Gospel Choir, A Beautiful Oblivion, and The Underlying Chaos. Mariana supports non-profit organizations like Love146 that help to stop modern day slavery. The band wrote the song Blood in My Eyes to help raise awareness on the sex-trafficking issue how long will my brothers and sisters die, how long will they drown in the tears they cry.
Mariana has written several songs they hope speak to the situations that we face in our everyday lives. Their songs acknowledge the trials we face such as doubt, hopelessness, and pride and stress that the only hope we have lies with our Lord and Savior.
Mariana is a group of now seniors who love to chat and mingle before and after shows. They love to share their faith and have a good time with everyone and anyone. So dont be shy to say hi to these guys they would love to talk to you and answer any questions you might have.
After undergoing several name changes the members decided they wanted a name that represented Gods unending love for us. When asked about their name they answered with Marianas Trench is the deepest part of the ocean so deep weve never reached the bottom of it. Gods love for us is like Marianas Trench so deep it will never run dry. Hence the name Mariana.
