Bio
Maria Woodford plays a blend of blues, jazz, and folk music, and has been writing, playing, and performing for 16 years. Maria has also performed in a variety of theatrical productions, and has appeared on over 18 studio and live albums in the past six years. Currently, Maria is studying music education at Kutztown University, and is teaching private music lessons (both ear training and method) in the Lehigh Valley (PA) and Central NJ.
Ms. Woodford has brought her music across the USA (over 80,000 highway miles) and has recieved many awards including the B.E.A.M. grant for independent music.
Ms. Woodford is most noted for her captivating stage presence, her truly unique voice, and her professional and respectful manner.
