Bio
Adam is an artist enrolled in the University of Georgia’s art school. He and Byron met in a high school art class in Elberton, GA. Both shared a love for bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana and Foo Fighters. Fortunately, Byron spent more time honing his guitar chops than drawing, and Adam focused more on his art but used his guitar to develop his exceptional songwriting.
Years after high school, Adam saw Byron performing at a local coffee shop and invited him to join his now defunct band, Wacko Mazoe. After dropping a couple of members and welcoming into the band Dave Grohl-enthusiast, Brian Carey, Marigold City was formed.
Today, the band is a tight-knit group of guys. Adam wrote the song “Oh, Miranda” about hanging with Byron’s sister as teenagers. The band performs in a power-trio format with Byron and Adam trading bass and guitar duties. Their catchy songs are propelled by crunching powerchords, sparkling accents and sing-along harmonies. The energy and excitement roll into town on Brian’s thundering drums. Marigold City is currently booking dates and promoting their EP "Exes & Ohs!"
