Bio
Born in the Blizzard of '93 in Boston, Massachusetts, Marilyn quickly developed a love of music as she made her way in the world. As her love of creativity grew, so did her desire to explore the heart of the industry. At 22 years old, Marilyn has been songwriting & performing across the country, including a year spent studying in New York City and a four-month internship at the famed Electric Lady Studios, built by the imagination of rock-and-roll legend Jimi Hendrix.
In September of 2015, Marilyn was chosen as the winner of the Emerging Songwriters Competition at the Gate City Music Festival, and was invited to open for Deana Carter at the historic Shuler Theater in Raton, NM. Her Fall 2015 Southwest Tour included stops in New Mexico, Phoenix (Mesa Music Festival) and Las Vegas (Sunset Songwriting Festival). She has also played several shows in Los Angeles (Genghis Cohen, Cork Lounge). New single "Carry the Charge" premiered on November 20th to radio airplay on KVYL FM and is available now on all major digital marketplaces.
A lover of the final frontier, the effortlessly romantic and equally tragic American history book, and, of course, rock and f#$%in roll, Marilyn is ready to share her artistic endeavors in their entirety with the world.
She currently splits her time between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, NV.
