The beautiful and talented Marina Serdyuk is making waves with her debut CD entitled "Take Me Away".
Her powerful voice and strong pop hooks have not only captured the attention of music fans, but also
the attention of several national and international dj's and radio programmers.
On Friday September 26th, 2008, Marina's music will be featured on 3WestTv.com,
a Canadian based internet radio station that promotes independent artists and
music. The half hour live special will air at 6:30 pm (Mountain Standard Time)
and is free to listeners who log on to the website. For listeners who can't
tune in at that time, the broadcast will also be posted afterwards in the 3WestTv
blog which can be found online at blogtv.3westtv.com.

On "Take Me Away", Marina belts out high energy performances through a variety of pop styles. With layers of vocals set over orchestrated strings and synths, intricate guitars and solid grooves, each song on the album has something different to offer. The album opens up with "What Do I Have To Do", a power pop rock anthem with heavy guitars and belting vocals reminiscent of Kelly Clarkson. The mood and setting changes with the next track, "Pirate". Featuring Marina's elaborate vocal lines and harmonies, as well as complex string parts, synths and percussion designed to take listeners on a daydream fantasy. On the title track, "Take Me Away" Marina shows her impressive piano skills and delivers an emotional vocal performance. In contrast to "Come Back To Me" which delivers a pulsing club track suitable for any dance floor. From dance to rock to dreamy pop this album offers a window into the depths of Marina's talent.
The album was produced by Cliff Pfeifer (Connection Recordings, P-Nuckle) at Terrasound Recording Studios in Englewood, CO. The tracks feature a variety of local and national session players offering up their talents. The beautiful and talented Marina Serdyuk is making waves with her debut CD entitled Take Me Away. Her powerful voice and strong pop hooks have not only captured the attention of music fans, but also the attention of several national and international dj's and radio programmers.
Originally born in Kieve, Ukraine, Marina and her family moved to America soon after. Influenced by the musical background of her family, she discovered her own passion for music at a young age. She began with performances in her home for family members and continued to develop her musical skills through school and various performances around the Denver area.
A relative newcomer to the music scene, her captivating voice seems destined for bigger things, and she proves it over and over again throughout the album. Her diverse songwriting showcases her powerfully emotional vocals. The songs are stacked with layers of harmonies and belting passages that reveal not only the depth of her talents, but also offers the listener a window into her soul.
Her solo material is just the latest chapter in her already successful career as a singer. She has received many accolades as a soloist in choral concerts and competitions, winning several awards with schools and youth groups. More recently, she has been lending her talents to cameo appearances on several Denver area artists songs and performances.
Currently, Marina is in the first stages of putting together a live show to feature her solo material performances as well as writing new material for her follow up album. With every passing day, she continues to win new fans and is looking forward to electrifying audiences with her live performances in the near future.
