If you had to sum up Marina Seretis in one word that word would be “sparkling.” With a presence honed in her career as a film actress, this singer holds the attention of any audience. Marina’s dynamic vocal performance are evident in her songs. Her unique sound can be likened to a solid crystal with shades of different musical influences thus connecting to people of different ages, cultures and musical tastes. Her song “Embers To Ice” is a deep, haunting piece, touching all who have experienced thepoignacy of love lost. Her other song “Fatal” with its R&B dance influences is also exotic and epic in its feel. Downright playfulness and sassiness are found in Marina’s exhilarating “Extreme” with its Latin and Greek beats. And for a more ethereal, nostalgic Celtic feel, Marina’s “Prince of Deed” is a love ballad as magical as the historical times of chivalry and honor preceding it. All mesmerizing harmony vocals that are woven in with the lead vocals are performed by Marina Seretis. Her vocals can also be heard on the soundtrack of the films, “Shattered” and “The Entrance” the latter which won several awards and was shown in three international film festivals, the Eerie Horror Film Fest, The Rhode Island International Horror Film Fest, and the New York City Horror Film Festival. On stage Marina’s captivating vocals are married with her love of dance to create both a wonderful visual and auditory experience. Marina was asked to perform the National Anthem and to perform her own original material at the Miss Vancouver Universe Pageant due to her cross genre/cross cultural appeal of her sound. This performance took place at the Michael J Fox Theatre in Burnaby B.C. Marina is busy performing and creating further exceptional songs as she says that her passion is to “touch people and to inspire them with her music”
