Bio

“Mario Tramaine” anointed by God to further his kingdom. He is a devoted and driven follower of God chosen to spread the “Good News” of Christ to a dying world. Mario Tramaine’s style of music is a mix between R&B, hip hop, jazz, and any other modern urban beat infused with the truly unadulterated word of God. Mario Tramaine recently adjoined with Nu Breed Productions, a local production company with an international calling and an artist arsenal that God has firmly grounded to infiltrate the world with the message of salvation. It was shortly after joining with Nu Breed that the name adaptation came. “Tramaine is my middle name which I feel helps to distinguish me from the other Mario’s and leaves you anticipating more than if I just went by my last name.”
Mario Tramaine Bennett, born February 16, 1977, of Savannah, Georgia, is the talented son born to William Mosley and Elizabeth Grady. Mario’s talent was recognized by his family at a young age, but wasn’t found to be extraordinary until age 11. Mario’s first selection rendered was The Winans, “Tomorrow”, which brought tears and cheers to the hearts of the church. Since then Mario has continued to lead songs in both youth and adult choirs at his home church Savannah Deliverance Center, Savannah, Georgia. As Mario progressed spiritually and vocally, it became evident that he was chosen by God to bring forth the gospel through song and ministry.
Mario became a songwriter in 2000. He states, “I always wrote poems and songs in parts, but was never able to finish them, but God is able. I humbly prayed to God, saying Lord, you’ve ordained me to sing for you, but singers alone don’t make it in this day in time. I need you Lord, if it be your will, to impart your gift of songwriting upon me in Jesus’ name, amen”. For Mario a miracle was performed in his life. He wrote “King of Glory”, the second song recorded in the start of his career, in about thirty minutes. “God moved and it just came,” says Mario of the event.
Since then Mario has worked with artists such as The Kenoly Brothers, and up and coming artists Insight, Felicia Sigler, Dasha, Volume, Terry Newsome, Kevin Goss, Delandrian Aikens (singer, songwriter, producer, director of Savannah State University’s Weslyan Gospel Choir), Eric Brach (singer, songwriter, producer, director of JEB Mass Choir, Savannah, Georgia), and Sonya & Tonya, a female group composed of a set of twins that he is currently developing and managing also.
Mario was ordained for the gospel music industry around the age of eighteen. Since that time he has performed in the play “My Baby’s Daddy”, a gospel play of which he garnered the lead role. He has sang at many churches including Overcoming by Faith Ministries, Savannah, Georgia, Ray of Hope Church, Atlanta, Georgia, and Savannah Deliverance Center, which all have multiple weekly broadcasts to which Mario has been showcased. Mario has opened for Ron Kenoly, The G Brothers, Zion and R&B artists Nivea, and Akon. Mario’s largest shared stage was opening for EMI Gospel recording artist Kierra “KiKi” Sheard.
Despite Mario’s rigorous schedule, he steadily makes time to give back to his community in many forms. Marios’ spiritually and instructed goal is to show and offer Christ whenever possible. He frequently participates in Feed the Hungry, Date-a-thon auction to raise money for the American Diabetes Association, and Youth Elite community organization, a dedicated supporter of many charities such as Hope House, The Battered Women’s shelter, Union Mission, and Toys for Tots. He has committed to providing annual donations to the United Way and Goodwill, and is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., which sponsors events such as voter registration drives, head start programs for youth, and other intercollegiate uplifting activities.
Mario completed his first promotional CD project in 2000 entitled “Change Your Ways,” an inspiring urban maxi-single that was written, arranged and executively produced by Mario himself. Mario worked more on his writing and arrangement skills after that which in 2004, contributed tremendously to the Compilation CD entitled “Men of Valor” which is composed of six artists, three rappers and three singers, all gospel with a youthful sound bringing God’s message. Mario is currently in the preproduction stages of his first solo album entitled “A Way Out” which features the songs “A Way Out (produced by BRIM productions who’s team has worked with the likes of Mr. Cheeks and Kanye West) King of Glory and “Praise” remixes, and the hottest song he has recorded to date “Good News”, an urban contemporary song inspired by his mother telling him of news broadcasts and him contradicting her words with the gospel or Good News of Jesus Christ.
Because of his God given talent, Mario placed third in the singing competition of the Wilamena’s Talent Scouting network, which landed him a four song recording deal with Intercontinental Records. Lou Pearlman, presid
