Bio
- Singer-songwriter Marissa Kay plays a variety of different styles but is primarily influenced by Americana and folk rock. She has been called "a punk version of Neil Young", and compared to Stevie Nicks and Brandi Carlile. An outspoken activist, she performed at the St. Petersburg Pride Festival in 2015 with the band ShinraCo, and organized a benefit concert for Syrian refugees with Love Has No Borders. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she has lived and performed around the United States, and now resides in San Francisco, California.
