Bio

From the first listen to one of Mark Allan Jensen's many songs, you will wonder "Why isn't this guy famous?" as so many others ask. Every song written has come from a real place in Mark's life. When he sings, his soul sings with him.

Mark Allan Jensen began writing songs in 1987. His sound can be compared to Pearl Jam meets Jim Croce and his music has reached people from every lifestyle. Fans of Dubstep have admitted to liking Jensen's music, as well as fans of rap, heavy metal and pop. His music knows no barriers.

As a young boy, though being traumatized by an abusive environment, Mark found solace in the music that poured from his Snoopy AM transistor radio, and began to sing along with the songs from age 5. At age 17 he learned the guitar and began writing songs at age 19. He attributes his desire to learn music to the folky songwriters of the late 60's and 70's. Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, etc.

Mark has changed his stage name many times since, in 2008, the "Letter's From the Grave" case in Wisconsin involved a man by the name of Mark Jensen. He has a CD in the name of Mark Catron called "This Crazy Life" because of that, but now goes by his full name of Mark Allan Jensen to avoid any confusion.

On his iTunes CD, Chris Meredith, who is a session player and who has played with many famous musicians such as Steven Tyler, contributes some very great tracks on three of Mark's songs. "All I'm Seeing Now" "Why Should We Believe" and "I Miss You"

A new CD is expected in the fall of 2013.
