"From Kathy"

Hi Mark,

I met you last Saturday at Jacobs Well coffeehouse in Rockville. I am sitting here at work listening to your tape "all about you" and love it. I truly was blessed by your testimony and music. It's maybe the second time I've ever enjoyed a coffeehouse. Your testimony touched me and gave me hope. I too have screwed up so many times, not with drugs or alcohol, other stuff, but still the same screwed up and got away from God's plan. Your testimony about the prodical son was timely for me. Thank God he loves us and doesn't turn his back on us even though we do on him sometimes. I am just getting back on my feet from ending an 8 monh relationship with someone who was "supposed" to be a Christian man but really wasn't. Well I can't judge his heart, only God can, but he was not bearing good fruit. Anyway, I just wanted to write and let you know your ministry is great, so is your music. I look forward to seeing you again. Too bad it isn't until next year. I checked out your website. Are you on facebook? If so I am too, it's Kathleen Adams. You can do a friend request and I'll put you on mine too. Great to have other Christians to fellowship with.

Take care, God bless.

I'll be ordering your other tapes in the near future. I love this one. Have played it over 3 times so far. - Jacob's Well

"From Dan"

Hi Mark,
I was the guy who sat on the couch with you for awhile talking about California and different stages of your life. I just wanted you to know you are not only a gifted singer and composer but an inspirational speaker as well. I enjoyed hearing your story of your return to God and how you tied it all in with the returning son was really amazing. I bought your album "Proclaim his love". I will play it when reading scripture and such. I listened on the way home and again this morning. I have to admit my favorite cut is "deeper". When you hear someone explain how they came to write a song ,it gives it more meaning. Thanks for a very rewarding evening and sharing your stories. I hope this year is a better one for you. When you talked about taking time first thing in the morning to talk to God,it reminded me of a gentleman who heard a fellow alcoholic at an AA meeting" the best thing you can do when going to bed at night is to kick your shoes half way under the bed so that when you get up in the morning you have to get down on your knees. While you are down there thank God for another day and all that he will do for you that day. Great advice!!Thanks again Mark for and evening well spent,I came away refreshed in spirit....Dan - Bev's Place

"From Dwayne"

Hey brother.....blessings!! I love your music and rich baritone voice. It is right in my voice range!! I am wondering if there is sheet music available for your songs. I am looking for piano music for " It's All About You Jesus" We are holding a concert at one of the churches here in RI and I would love to sing that song.

This song really touches my heart and I sing it every chance I get. It beckons true intimacy with the Father, something He so desires. Thank you Lord for allowing Mark to be a vessel willing to search the deep chambers of your heart and relay through rich powerful music the love you have for your chosen ones.

Thanks Mark for who you are and letting the Lord of Hosts come alive. You are truly a troubadour of there king.....May the Lord be your cloud by day and your pillar of fire by night.....Always in His presence, Dwayne - Rhode Island

"From Dolly"

I was at the coffee house in Salem last night. I just wanted to tell you that I was very impressed with your music. It's very different.I still can't figure it out; it's kind of contemporary, folksy, intriging. But, it kept my attention. I bought two C.D.'s. I gave one to our praise band this morning. I really like Deeper the best. I could picture our big praise team putting that in a contatta. I was up till one in the morning listening to it and in the spirit. Keep on singing for the Lord, you have a very soothing voice. And the message is powerful. Peace, Dolly - Salem, NH

Bio

It has been said that the only Bible many people will ever read is your life. It is Mark's vision and desire to be a clear reflection of Christ*s love,
to encourage the body of Christ in His love, that we
all may become whole, Christ-like lovers of God and others.

Mark Bishop Evans shares a unique and powerful message through his testimony, insights gleaned from his own healing journey and the music inspired from that process. His testimony clearly shows the extent of what God can do in a life that is willing to be changed by the love and healing power of Jesus Christ.

Mark is a speaker, singer, songwriter and worship leader. He has spoken and led worship in both traditional and contemporary settings for nearly two decades.

As a victim of the trauma and shame of sexual child abuse, PTSD from the Viet Nam war, and a former addict and drug dealer who squandered his God given gifts in a world of sin, he has a poignant story to tell of the vastness of God's mercy and grace and His ability to restore broken lives.

He has recorded 3 CD's and written dozens of songs of worship as well as those that express the love of Christ through his own healing journey. Mark has a calling and great desire to share how our Father in Heaven can lift you out of darkness and bring you into His marvelous light, to give you abundant life, to give you peace that passes all human understanding, and to make you the person He created you to be; a Christ-like Lover of God and others.

John 13:34-35
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
