2006: Sing a Little (Mark Boulle and the Haba Dudes)- The first studio demo from Mark and his band the Haba Dudes. Featuring 7 songs including Whale Reggae and Break the Rules.
2005: Shoot to Kill (Demo) (Haba Dudes)- The first demo recording from Mark and the original Haba Dudes. Features the first known recordings of Shoot to kill, Whale Reggae, Black Sheep and Cold Sweat.

Bio
Mark's music is acoustic roots based, drawing on Reggae, Gypsy Jazz and rolling Folk rhythms. With meaningful, poignant songwriting and lyrical ability he has been compared with a range of greats from Bob Dylan to David Gray, and Thom Yorke to Xavier Rudd.
The band Haba Dudes began in 2005 with Mark Boulle (guitar, vocals), Guilherme Marzana (drums) and Gonzalo Simo (violin). The three started jamming on songs Mark had written. Marcos Araujo (alto, tenor, soprano, pocket trumpet) joined the band soon after.
The Haba Dudes started playing gigs around the Gold Coast in late 2005 through the early months of 2006, most notably a residency at Zullas Restaurant, Burleigh Heads and the first of many gigs at Swingin Safari, Surfers Paradise. They also began rehearsing and recording at Marks home No.12 in the Gold Coast Hinterland. The results of these sessions was the first Haba Dudes demo, 7 songs including the first recorded versions of Shoot to kill, Whale Reggae, Black Sheep and Cold Sweat. Other songs were also captured but none have been released. In March 2006, Gui and Gonzalo both returned to the home countries of Brazil and Spain respectively.
Elodie Mayberry replaced Gonzalo on violin and Jonno Harding Clark replaced Gui on drums. During this transition period, another 7 song demo was completed Mark Boulle and the Haba Dudes featuring just Mark, Marcos and Elodie. There were drums on the CD with the exception of some sampled drums on Stay with me. This demo is a beautifully crafted work highlighting the sensual qualities of the violin and saxophone. It includes the 2nd recorded version of Whale Reggae and Little Baby Stay. Towards the middle of 2007 Shawn Rodney Burnett joined the band playing bass. In September the band went into the studio for a live recording session with engineer James Higgins, which saw the making of the live studio demo, 7 songs including the previously recorded Whale Reggae. This demo captured songs Static, Sing a little, Break the Rules, Dumb, Im an idiot, a second version of Little Baby Stay. Static received the bands first national radio play later that year. In 2006 Mark and the band began tracking songs for their debut full length album. It is expected to be released late 2007.
