On the menu some laid back slide guitar, double bass, brushed drums, harmonica, a sprinkling of hammond. All cooked to perfection with a smoky jazzy/blues flavor. All songs are self penned and, with the exception of the mighty Justin Hildreth who appears on Lazy, all instruments are played by Mark.

Mark has played with many of the blues greats and says "Of all of them my favourite would be John Hammond, the grammy winning blues guitarist, I had the pleasure to support him for the third time and to his suggestion I went out and played solo, me a guitar and harmonica. Wow! it went down a storm, thanks John and Marla"

Later on stage, in the middle of his amazing set, John Hammond praised Mark describing him as "a phenomenal, young guitarist"

Mark has headlined at the amazing Pigalle Club in London. Played support for Bo Diddley at the Forum in London, Eric Burdon and the Animals at the Jazz Cafe London and KT Tunstall at the Garage, The Fabulous Thunderbirds. at the Mean Fiddler ("Mark you really funk," they said).. Also not forgeting John Hammond, Jose Feliciano at the Forum London. Scotty Moore, Kelly Jo Phelps, Charlie Musselwhite "A Torrid performance from Buck" said Jack Massarik, Evening Standard Jazz Critic. Most recently he has opened for Los Lobos on 15th and 16th of August this year, and Allen Toussaint,Ike Turner, and The Zombies, with Colin Blundstone and Rod Argent

Current influences are; Kelly Joe Phelps, Taj Mahal and Robben Ford, Buddy Guy and all the wonderful old blues players whos shoulders we can nervously stand on. Checkout his web site www.markbuck.co.uk
