Bio

Born October 31, in London, England and raised in the working class town of Navan, Ireland, Mark was soon introduced to the sounds of Elvis Presley, AC-DC, Status Quo, and of course, Thin Lizzy. It didn't take him long to realize where his future lay! At the age 6, Mark’s parents moved the family to yet another working class part of the world, New Jersey. Where growing up, Mark got to experience the legendary Jersey shore scene, which produced such legends as Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi. and Southside Johnny and the Asbury Dukes. In and out of bands for most of his teenage years, Mark quickly learned that,” if you want to be a somebody, in a business full of anybody's,” he had to write his own music. During the 90's, at the age of 17, Mark moved back to London, where again he was in and out of bands trying to get himself heard. It was during his stay in the English Capitol that he got experience the great British music scene, which at the time were producing such acts as Oasis, Kula-Shaker, Del Amitri and many other’s. Proving unsuccessful in his quest to be heard, Mark returned home to finish his schooling.
After graduating high school, Mark found himself at a crossroads, go back to the cover band scene and end up God knows where, or go on the road and learn the ropes! There wasn't much to think about, Mark went to work for Maryland Sound. It was there he quickly found himself on the road with the likes of Kid Rock, David Lee Roth, Faith Hill, and Whitney Houston. Having learnt what it takes to put on larger-than-life arena size shows, and the daily grind of life on a big tour, Mark grew fed up of pushing other people's gear around, so he returned home to once again pick up his guitar! As any original act knows, finding work is tough so Mark decided to go back to his Native Ireland, and try once again to get himself heard. Mark spent the better parts of 2001/2002 touring through out Ireland, England, and Europe, honing his performing skills, and learning just how to work a crowd.
In January of 2002, Mark played the annual Tribute to the late great Phil Lynott (the front man for Thin Lizzy). This event attracts artist's from all over the world, including Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, U2, Elvis Costello, and many more. As Smiley Bulger, promoter and organizer of the event said, “This was Mark’s year! A superb performance, by an artist I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot more of!”
Since then, Mark continues to write and perform! He has played to sold out audiences up and down the East Coast at such venues as the Recher Theater, Merriweather Post Pavilion, the 9:30 Club, and Nissan Pavilion! He has opened for such acts as Iron Maiden, Nuno Bettencourt, Styx, Peter Frampton, the Warren Brothers, Brooks and Dunn, KIX, the Naked Beggars(including members of Cinderella), Leslie West and Mountin, the Ramones, Dio, MotorHead, and SR-71.
