Mark-Aurelius C. Benton (MarkDaMighty) is a hungry artist from New Haven, CT raised in Cleveland, OH. He utilizes the power of art to express himself more than he’s ever know how to verbally communicate with another person. As an artist he aims to spread his story relating to others across the world that share those same struggles. Influenced by greats such as Phife Dawg, Q-tip, Rakim, Marcus Aurelius, Socrates, Plato, Tupac, Kid Cudi, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Isaiah Rashad, Charles Hamilton, Kendrick Lamar, Huey Newton, Malcolm X and many other great men. Mark’s thoughts were:” I love hip hop but all around I am constantly inspired by all spectrums of sound”. MarkDaMighty’s second mixtape “Lost&Found” dropped June 6th 2016. He takes the listener on a journey through not only his past year but throughout his whole life so far battling "lost” phase and his beautiful transition into becoming “found”. He vividly paints his ups, his downs, his love, and his heartbreaks so sit back, relax and tune into the life and times of MarkDaMighty.
