Every now and then in the music industry someone different comes along, someone who is willing to go against the grain and does not follow the trend. That someone is Mark Dunn, Well Dunn Productions Inc CEO, a singer, songwriter, and producer from the south. He is the seventh of eight children born to Roosevelt and Earline Dunn Sr of Lafayette, Louisiana. By age eleven, he began playing different types of instruments and sang in the church choir. Mark credits his old school style to his father, who sang with the Legendary Brothers. (Quintet Gospel Group). Mark has performed at several birthday parties, talent shows, reunions, weddings, business conferences, churches, and has recently completed his debut album (Night for Love). Marks debut album "Night for Love" is a collection of twelve soulful tunes that will ignite the listeners appetite for love. He has a smooth seductive style that will not only capture lovers, but give hope to the loveless. His music stresses real life situations and magnifies love as the answer for all. He believes that music is more than words over rhythm, but the power to send a message that will change someones life. He often uses the slogan, "Making music from the heart is the only way to satisfy the soul". "Night for Love" is guaranteed to capture your mind and leave you breathless.
Today, it seem as though artists appear out of thin air and are successful overnight. You would probably never see the trials and tribulations many artists face while on their way. Mark is no different. He has been involved with various independent record labels and had several false starts; however looking back he feels it was necessary to bring him to this point. It was not until one year ago; his oldest brother heard a sample of his music and encouraged him to work on a solo album. This was not a difficult task, because he had over thirty songs written and produced at the time. Although, it has been rough at times, his undying dedication, determination, and passion for music prevailed.
