1999-2000 Played guitar, keys, vox in Nashville space-rock band Harmonium (1 full-length "Waiting For Transmission" 1998, played CMJ, courted by V2 records, other members went on to form current local acts Aireline and De Novo Dahl).

Now playing alone, or with whatever ragged army of musicians he can assemble for the occasion, Mark's music has often been compared with his influences Jeff Buckley, Van Morrison, Ron Sexsmith, and Rufus Wainwright.
