The Light and the Dark/Mark Femino
Femino, sounding like a second generation cross between Paul Simon and Sting, sings with the same kind of youthful exuberance that made the two songwriters so prolific. The tracks are light-hearted and optimistic, as Femino chants about delicate songs artfully, seemingly singing from his tiptoes. Femino's talent shines bright on his new album. - Face Magazine

Bio
About a year and a half ago, I started fooling around with the ukulele. Having been a finger-style guitar player, I already had a fair amount of dexterity on the instrument. Lo and behold, riffs and songs started coming with great ease. I couldn't believe you could make a ukulele sound the way I was making it sound - Blues, Latin, Progressive Rock, etc. Now, some time later, I have my first full-length ukulele album entitled, The Flea Jumpin' Juke Joint (ukulele means jumping flea). I'm very proud of it. It's really cool. Check it out!!
