Bio
Originally from Oakville, Mark Forward has headlined in comedy clubs across Canada and continues to be one of Toronto's most recognized comedians.
Mark has won the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Stand-up Newcomer, and appeared at the Halifax Comedy Festival. He then went on to win the prestigious Homegrown Comic Competition at the 2008 Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, which resulted in a spot on the bill at the Talk of the Fest show hosted by Drew Carey.
Having taped a Comedy Now special that aired on CTV and The Comedy Network, Mark is also recognized for his numerous commercial campaigns as well as a number of film and television appearances including episodes of Ken Finkelman's The Newsroom, DOC, and Degrassi: The Next Generation.
Audiences looking for a comedian on the rise had best turn off their cell phones, plant their feet, and face Forward.
