Mark Hastings

I was classically trained on piano, but was also exposed to Blues and Boogie at an early age. Later I got into the Jazz workshop at UMASS and fell in love with Swing. I like to incorporate all of these elements into music that is both familiar and yet strange.
I think I have been influenced by every piece of music I have ever heard. Some more than others. When I do covers I run the gamut from the 30's to the present day.
