Lyrics

Small Town Kid

Written By: Mark Kreitzer

She was a small town kid with big city dreams, left everyone who loved her, gonna make a new scene. Rollin' down the highway in her nineteen Olds 88. She's got nowhere to go, but you know she'll never be late.
She packed all her ambition in a little pack, you can give the rest away, she ain't never coming back. She don't want your advice, just help her carry her load, and if you can't help her brother, better get out of the road.
Like a moth to a flame that never gets burned, she'll take all of her chances, leave no stone unturned, she knows life's too short to waste a minute of time.
With her feet on the ground and her head in the clouds, she wants everyone to watch as she rolls into town. She knows she's not bragging, 'cause she delivers the goods, and she's having more fun than she ever thought that she could.
For so many years she had to bide her time, now the doors blew off as she rolls down the line. If she ever looks back, you know she'll never stare.
She was a small town kid with big city dreams, left everyone who loved her, gonna make a new scene. Rollin' down the highway in her nineteen Olds 88. She's got nowhere to go, but you know she'll never be late.
