Biography

Mark Nelson has been a vocalist and rhythm guitarist in the seminal Chicago sixties/seventies cover band, Revolution, since 2006. The soulful power of Mark's vocals, coupled with the tension in his music makes for a body of work that is sure to evoke feelings and emotions that many in his listening audience didn't realize they were capable of. His live shows leave the audience emotionally charged and ready for more. Mark is a Chicago native, and currently lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with his wife, two daughters and two dogs. Mark has been playing in numerous bands over the last ten years, and is in the process of compiling material for an upcoming album due out sometime in 2009. When he isn't writing and playing music, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing poker, smoking cigarettes, and plotting world domination.
